Bizarro Land

Remember Mai and Sirosis? Well while I was coloring Sirosis I was like, what if their color schemes were reversed? And their personalities. So I drew them.... with personalities reversed! I'm not sure how I like the outcome, but seeing as it's a present for my friend Kyle, as long as he's happy with it I'm happy with it.



Also this makes my first finished piece to go up on the site! New tag!

Just Teasing

This is Kenny. Kenny is a nice guy. He finishes last. He's got a thing for Ana. She knows this, she likes to tease him every chance she gets. Kenny will never, ever get to hit that. His life kind of sucks.

Birds of a Feather

One last post before I go to bed.



Chance is a pretty lonely kid, birds are really the only thing that can spark and hold his interest. Mostly because they can fly and he cannot. Yup, those wings are useless.

Done in red because Mike asked why I always used blue, told me I should switch it up. I use blue because then if I want to go over the lines with black to finish the piece and clean it up, I can. Not that I ever do, but I COULD. The short answer is I like blue.

And now I sleep.

Not Your Nuclear Family

I started drawing this Saturday, but didn't finish it. I finished it today, so it technically counts as something I drew today... right? :p

Anyways, more from In The Details. From left to right, Chance, his aunt Ella, and his caretaker Donavon (no relation.) I colored it in for yooooou. I have never colored Chance's wings before so they may change a little bit, but I think this looks ok for now.

Celeste

Sorry for the delay in posting, I've been really stressed lately and thus have been lame and not drawing. But I'm back now, with more art!



This is Celestiel, one of my angels and Justin's ex girlfriend. She's pretty much perfect and lovable in every way. I was going to color this one but then I looked at those wings, went "ehhhh" and didn't. You'd better believe Justin wants her back.

Justin

Justimiel, an Angel. Just a picture of him. Because I needed to draw something. I am working on a bigger piece which I plan to do right, with finished lines and maybe shading and everything. :p So I'm kind of crapping out smaller sketches every day while I work on that. It should come out nicely. I hope. In the meantime.... Justimiel! Or Justin, as Ana calls him.

Sirosis

Mai's counterpart, Sirosis, the main character of The Fallen, and a fallen angel, which is right up my alley. He's pretty much the polar opposite of Mai. I drew him like crap. I can never draw him right. Anyways.

Cutie Mai

This is Mai, she's a character that belongs to a friend of mine. I missed his birthday(s) this year.... (he has three, it's a really long story.) so I really need to get off my lazy ass and draw him something. And since I've been off my lazy ass and drawing it seemed the perfect time to do so. So I owe him one more sketch and for his actual birthday perhaps a nice finished piece. Yep. Also Mai is the cutest thing ever I think.

Pin Up Attempt 2

Attempt 2 at the pin-up for my sister and her fiancee. She asked me to trim her down a little, and have her riding maybe a Chinchilla or a Chocobo. Since I've never drawn either, I figured I'd try a Chinchilla. Also changed the clothes and the pose. I like this one I think, I at least like the face better, though if she likes the rough draft I will probably change it to make it look more like her.

Apparently Mike was having a dream about the Ghostbusters Stay-Puft Marshmallow man. He says he rescued me, but it sounds more like he was hiding. And then immediately went back to sleep.

Hello, Donnie

An old character from an old story, Leech, I wrote in middle school. It kind of sucks, but at the time I thought it was pretty hot shit. Apparently I have a thing for pink hair. I will probably never do anything with the story, but I like to draw the characters from time to time to make sure they know I haven't forgotten them.

Just a crap picture of Ana today, I didn't feel like drawing but I need to so I did. It came out eh but at least I produced something. Perhaps something better tomorrow?

Pin-Up Attempt 1

My sister's fiancee wants to get a tattoo of her as a pin up girl. And they asked me to draw it. This is attempt 1. I say attempt 1 because there will probably be many others before I get it right. I'm not exactly happy with how the face came out. I love the pose but not the face and the clothing is meh, so we'll see. I'll show it to her and see what she has to say about it, after that, there will likely be other pin up attempts to follow. Also he mentioned something about having her ride a chocobo, so, who knows....

Bad At It

This is Hannah. She is Gabe's guardian angel. She's not very good at it though. She could probably use one herself. She has PTSD from losing her wing and fingers, and is pretty broken in the head. I feel sorry for her. I feel sorry for all the characters I do bad things to, which is a lot of them.

This is Gabe. He bites his fingers a lot. It's a nervous habit. He has quite a few of those. I feel like coloring drawings today, apparently.

More From In The Details

These are the two main characters of my story, In The Details, Ana and Justin. The wings are Justin. You'll probably be seeing a lot of these guys. I liked the way this turned out, so I slapped color on it. I might actually make it a finished piece one of these days. Or I might draw something new. Who knows. Anyways I like the way it came out. Something I drew that I am happy with? Ridiculous!

Just some more "ground rules." The drawing doesn't have to be GOOD, I just have to draw and post it. And with that in mind, I crapped this out. This is Astariel, an Angel from the story I am working on. Working title is In The Details. It has angels in it. She is one of them. She is my favorite. And now, before I ramble any further, I am going to bed!

This is What it Is

I'm an artist. At least that's what I tell people. But I don't draw much anymore. I dropped out of art school and now I work and I don't draw as much as I'd like. Or as much as my boyfriend would like. I think he's hoping I'll become rich and famous and support him in his old age. Or maybe he just wants to see me succeed. I want to be a comic book artist. I have ideas! I just don't execute them...

So anyways, he decided I should draw something every day and post it online every day. And since that's not a terrible idea, here we are. I will draw something. Hopefully every day. And post it online. Post it here. Hopefully every day. This is what Amy drew today! Hopefully it will help me grow as an artist. Or maybe it will just get my lazy butt drawing some more.
